I have always been drawn to wild places and the ocean. Long before motherhood, the sea shaped the way I live, travel and see the world, and it’s been a constant thread through everything I do.

When my two children came along, that didn’t change. Their childhood was centred around the Cornish coast, full of sailing, wild swimming, exploring beaches, and stepping outside to what was right on our doorstep. 

Those years were full of love, adventure, chaos, salt and laughter, and they shaped not only them but me too.

Now that they’re beginning to carve out their own paths, I’m finding my own again. Wild Blue, my boat and new challenge, has become a vessel for that rediscovery. Being back at the helm reminds me of skills I haven’t used for years and reconnects me with the confidence, curiosity and courage that have always been part of me. Each trip is a chance to grow, explore and reclaim the parts of yourself you may have tucked away.
